We are growing our Vancouver Island team

We are pleased to announce that Greg Wooster has joined our Victoria, BC, studio as a Senior Interior Designer and Senior Associate. Greg, a Registered Interior Designer, joins us from recently held positions as Director of Space Planning & Optimization at Vancouver Coastal Health, and the University of Victoria, where he served as Manager of Interior Modifications. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in strategy, facilities management, space planning and interior design, specializing in large-scale, complex projects for public organizations across Canada. He is also the past Principal Designer and Owner of Space Craft Design Corp., a progressive, full-service interior design and facilities planning firm based in Nanaimo, BC.

Greg’s portfolio of work spans public organizations from coast-to-coast and contains a long list of notable clients from the institutional, healthcare, workplace and commercial market sectors.

Noteworthy projects he has led include the interior design and furniture, fixtures and equipment package for the original construction of the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George; several RCMP projects, including strategic space planning for the Island District Headquarters in Victoria; and multiple healthcare projects, including three kidney dialysis clinics on Vancouver Island. In addition to his time with Space Craft Design, Greg has built his knowledge and expertise at various public organizations including Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver Island Health Authority, University of British Columbia, University of Waterloo, Toronto’s York University, BC Buildings Corp, and more.

With his extensive experience and industry connections across the province, Greg’s role will also see him engaged in business development to help us expand our Vancouver Island client roster. With our Headquarter in Vancouver with four additional Canadian offices, the Victoria studio is currently the our smallest office.

Greg’s new colleagues on Vancouver Island are also notable: Judith Horvath – a Registered Senior Interior Designer and Associate with 31 years of experience (18 with us) and the past President of the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia – has anchored our Victoria studio since 2016. She’s helped the office oversee an impressive portfolio of workplace interior projects including two locations for the BC Ministry of Citizens’ Services, UVic’s Student Health and Wellness Centre and numerous revamped spaces for the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation. The office is further bolstered by AIBC licensed Architect Eric Tran, who relocated from our Toronto location in December 2021. He last worked as Project Architect on the recently completed Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Centre for Excellence in Transportation Infrastructure and Humber College International Graduate School projects.
