We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace
As a design firm, our product is our ideas and good ideas come from combining different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Taking advantage of these differences and embracing diversity leads to innovation, supports our teams and leads to better solutions for our clients. Our ambition is that we are fully inclusive every day and create a work environment where people’s experience is important and allows everyone to feel safe to be themselves, ask questions and to understand more about different perspectives so that we continuously educate each other to remain agile and creative while attracting and keeping top talent.
We are proud of our diverse workforce, comprised of people from over 30 countries and over half (56%) of our staff are women. In particular, we are committed to the professional advancement of members of the following groups - youth, women, indigenous people, visible minorities, and people with disabilities, and the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
We incorporate diversity and inclusion into our daily practices and decisions from recruitment to retention. From sessions for staff on cultural diversity, gender equity to having guest speakers to share their stories on allyship on themes around Truth and Reconciliation and Pride. We promote employment opportunities for a variety of groups by bridging programs to attract qualified new immigrants, attending career fairs and building relationships with Indigenous communities and high schools to showcase career opportunities that await in architecture and interior design.
